T-mobile upgrade, extra �20 for my new handset.. One off price or monthly?

Please for your sake, do not do it. T Mobile is telling people anything to get them to upgrade. SInce they will be out of business pending the FCC approval of the merger then your phone wont work and your bill will go up.. If you renew your contract then they have you. They are getting sue for some of what they are going.
