I know that after basic and AIT I go to Airborne School then RASP, but would I get the same training as everyone else in terms of going to specialized schools(Air Assault, Ranger, Pathfinder,etc.) I'm also aware that I would be considered an W-1(Special Operations Combat Medic) what kind of training should I expect for my specialty? Hi my mom has been paying off a car since november 2009 she has paid 538.00 monthly since. I Found Out I Have a Daughter?

I’m 26 and when I was younger I didn’t really have control of my life. These last few years I’ve gotten my act together and I’m definitely a different person. Well a few months ago I found out I have a daughter whose 5 years old. Her mom OD when she was 3 and she was living in foster care until recently. I got custody of her and now she’s living with me. I can’t imagine what she’s been through, and although people have told me she’s too young to remember her mom, I think she does. She seems so scared of everyone and she won’t leave my side. It breaks my heart to think that if I had known about her earlier I could have prevented what she’s been through. The foster care people said that she had never been physically abused but I think she might have. On one of the first days she started living with me she bumped over a plate by mistake and she acted like I was going to hit her. When she realized I wasn’t and that I wasn’t even mad she sort of was shaky then she gave me a hug and started crying. Her reaction made me feel so sad, I love her so much and I feel so guilty for whats happened to her. I don’t want to get her a psychiatrist or anything because in foster care she’s had to deal with people asking her questions about her mom and I think its been too much for her. She’s only 5 years old and I don’t want her to have to go through anything else. None the less, I want to help her but I don’t know how. She’s opening up to me but she just seems so afraid of everyone else. How can I help her adjust?

I would like help identifying the manufacturer and age of a vintage briar wood smoking pipe which has the following markings on it: 1) the letters "O.D." inside an oval with the words "DE LUXE" underneath stamped/etched on the flue (the tube shaped extension of the bowl that the stem inserts into). Cheve 1500 slipping out of OD?

I have a friend that has a Cheve Silverado with about 100k mi. It has the tow/haul package..about an 05 model. He will be driving down the road and with no warning, the OD will kick out. It will be under no load or acceleration. He bought the fluid and filter to service the transmission (never has been) but a bunch of guys told him that changing the transmission fluid now could tear it up??? I know the concept of the transmission and torque converter....I drive a F350 and learned a LOT about transmissions with it. So any ideas about the potential problem would be helpful. I know this is a common question asked but I believe my situation is a little different. I sold my car today and wrote a written contract that clearly states the car is sold "as is." The purchaser signed it on my written out contract. I also put sold "as is" on both copies of the bill of sale, but forgot to have the purchaser sign that. my contract is for 4 years - I was originally signed up to leave as a hospital corpsman (HM) but I requested to switch my job because I found out it (HM) was mostly a land Job. Truck one day while driving wouldn't kick into 2nd, 3rd and reverse, so we took the transmission off and had someone replaced the gears, than the truck would not go into anything, no drive, reverse, nothing.. found out we didn't put enough fluid in it..once we did that we didn't have OD or 2nd so re replaced solenoid 2/3 and now OD kicks in, now about to change solenoid 1/2 to see if that helps because auto zones little computer said that was the problem, will that fix 2nd? and also its acting really funny do we need to try and flush the transmission?? the guy SAID he cleaned it after he rebuilt it but i guess not if we seen metal shavings in the fluid when we changed the solenoid..

Just got our of a psychiatric hospital and don't feel any better?

I spent 7 days in the hospital too, I felt no better and had a feeling that the insurance possibly played a role in it. I wouldn't really expect to feel better. They put me on a bunch of pills, none of which really created a change either. All I can say is that Psych hospitals aren't going to make you feel any better, they may make you feel safer but know that they will always eventually have to let you go and u need to learn to live without them.

On one of the first days she started living with me she bumped over a plate by mistake and she acted like I was going to hit her. Suspected mold in rental unit?

My family & I recently moved 100 miles into a rental house. The owner is still trying to sell the house but is renting it through a property management company in the mean time. We have heard from several people that this house has been for sale for over 2 years and the current owner has received estimates from every contracting company in town, literally EVERY one(it's a town with a population of less than 20,000). My husband works for one of them & his boss said when he did the estimate for the owner he didn't want to pay for anything. He got the impression he was only getting estimates to make it seem like he was going to fix it, but really just wants to sell it as is. As a result of all the rain there now appears to be black mold growing on the exposed insulation in the room with th leaking roof. My 3 year old son constantly has a runny nose ans we both constantly seem to have what feels like pink-eye. I also experience frequent headaches. These are not problems we experienced before living in this house. I'm concerned for our health, but since moving I have lost my job so we don't have money to just move again.
